The newly created Community Marketing Coordinator is a unique opportunity for a talented, energetic candidate to gain hands on experience, and implement creative, custom and innovative events and special projects. The position is based in the fast-paced environment of the world-renowned, iconic Willis Tower, now undergoing a $500M redevelopment and managed by EQ Office. The position is responsible for implementing internal and external customer relationship building programs that support the EQ Office "Space for Greatness" vision. The Community Marketing Coordinator position is an integral part of the strategic marketing program with primary focus on office and retail "customer" experience, communication and engagement, external community relations, program/event support for leasing efforts, promotional support for building amenities and conference spaces, implementation of sponsorship activations along with brand partnership initiatives. In addition, the position will provide marketing support to drives sales and traffic for tenants of Catalog (opening in 2020) - now under development at the base of Willis Tower. The position is designed to support the VP of Marketing and property management and leasing teams.

As the Community Marketing Coordinator, one is held accountable to, however not limited to, the following job functions:
  • Partner with VP of Marketing and Property Management team for ongoing tenant communication and engagement programs that create a personal connection and support the company vision of exceptional customer relations
  • Become a key, innovative relationship manager and advocate for EQ Office with Willis Tower tenants, prioritizing their wants and needs in the workplace environment
  • Assist with planning of customer relations programs, tenant speaker/interactive series, revenue-generating sponsorship programs, and programs to maximize sales, traffic and awareness for key tenants in the new Catalog space - a 300,000 square foot development now under construction at the base of Willis Tower (late 2019-mid 2020 completion)
  • Provide marketing support with third party operators of current amenity spaces (fitness, caf, bar) to maximize tenant engagement, membership and programming awareness
  • Partner with EQ Office marketing team to implement both corporate driven and customized local customer, concierge and hospitality programming for Willis Tower and other properties in the company's Chicago portfolio, that integrate tenant relations with event activations and ongoing engagement
  • Coordinate relationship management and flawless project execution for marketing activities and initiatives that support the brand positioning strategy for Willis Tower
  • Partner with the property management team to implement consistent communication and programming content that creates a welcoming workplace environment for tower tenants
  • Participate in community and influencer initiatives that support the overall positioning of the company and property (i.e. B2B, arts, philanthropic)
  • Support partnership marketing/sponsorship initiatives for brand alignment and monetization opportunities
  • Marketing liaison with property operations team as needed for event implementation
  • Management of local vendors as needed
  • Management of marketing event/programming budgets and expenses


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or other related field
  • 3 - 7 years of work experience in marketing, sales, hospitality or customer service
  • Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Pro-active, self-starter with the ability to work independently
