Integrated Marketing is the engine that powers Sales enablement at CBS Interactive. The IM team leads media and sponsorship-related projects from ideation through post-sale implementation and execution, working across all departments to drive revenue. The Site Strategy team within Integrated Marketing is tasked with maintaining strong ties to our site teams, proactively developing single site and multi-site programs while also executing all sold sponsorships.. Role Details:. The VP of Site Strategy sets the overall approach for the 30-person Site Strategy team within Integrated Marketing. Through a clear understanding of each site's content, products and audience, the VP's Site Strategy team will create value for advertisers by developing new/annual sponsorship initiatives through any combination of sites within the CBSi portfolio. The VP will work closely with each of CBSi's 4 GMs/EVPs to keep a pulse on their businesses and play a key role on the Integrated Marketing Senior Management team. The VP will also be responsible for advancing our social monetization efforts through leadership of our Social Solutions team.. Your Day-to-Day:. Lead five Integrated Marketing teams focused on key content pillars -- Entertainment, News, Sports, CNET Media Group and Social. Identify content, product and audience synergies between them.. Keep a pulse on the business by closely monitoring site revenue in order to ensure quarterly sales budgets are met or exceeded.. Work closely with the Editorial & Video teams to proactively build new packages and evolve prior year packages based on new site content and product direction.. Assist Integrated Marketing's sales-facing Client Solutions team with customizing RFP responses by brainstorming solutions and securing approvals from the Editorial/Video teams.. Serve as the lead on the development of any sponsored activations/events with the Experiential Marketing team and CBSX.. Own the sponsorship post-sale process and ensure flawless execution.. Advance the working relationship with Network Sales.. Oversee Social Solutions, our center of excellence around social monetization, working across CBSi to standardize our industry-leading approach.. QUALIFICATIONS:. What you bring to the team:. You have-. Bachelor's Degree with minimum of 15 years of marketing and/or ad sales experience at an agency, internet publisher, broadcast/cable network or national brand.. Proven experience managing and motivating a high-performing team to achieve business goals.. Exceptional ability to build bridges and create strong relationships with various business partners.. Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills, particularly with clients, internal colleagues and the industry community.. Deep knowledge of sales and marketing principles and methods for demonstrating, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes solution-selling marketing and sales strategy and tactics, sales techniques and sales control systems..
