The Investments activity, at the core of the Wealth Management division, encompasses both discretionary investment management and brokerage. The EMEA Investments Business Management (EMEA IBM) team closely supports and reports into the EMEA Head of Investments. As such, the EMEA IBM team manages the Investments platform, formulates and implements business strategy, oversees client-advisors (Investors), manages sales of collective and alternative investments, initiates new product development and ensures compliance with risk and regulatory agenda. The EMEA IBM team supports client-advisor teams based in 7 locations through Europe. As an agile, diverse and dynamic team the EMEA IBM team works cross-functionally with all stakeholders including market managers, client advisors, investment solutions teams, Controls Management, Finance, Marketing, Strategic Programs Group, Legal, Risk Management, Compliance, Operations, Technology, and Human Resources. OpportunityThe EMEA IBM team is looking to hire a highly-motivated and committed vice president (VP). The VP can expect regular exposure to the Wealth Management organization and to directly present his/her work to the EMEA senior leadership. The VP will have the support of junior staff in their day to day and opportunities to develop their managerial skills. The EMEA IBM team members regularly benefit from training courses in addition to close-quarter guidance, oversight and coaching. The job opening is for a junior VP located in Geneva. Travel within Europe will be expected 3-4 times a year. Key responsibilities: * Provide insights and support decision making on the investments business * Support senior management in defining strategic direction and future growth plans of the investments business * Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management forums * Partner closely with Market teams on region-wide initiatives and reporting * Lead workshops comprised of Strategic Programs Group, Technology and Operations to achieve enhancements to tools and processes used by client advisors * Define and implement practices ensuring investments business compliance with policies, procedures and regulations * Spearhead responses to exams by Compliance Testing, Internal Audit, external Auditors and Regulators * Actively look out for and pursue process efficiencies and client/advisor experience improvements Qualifications: * Master s degree or equivalent. CFA or other investment qualification is a plus * Experience in professional investment or business/project management context is a plus * Genuine interest in and commitment to the investments business and management thereof * Adopt an organised and methodical approach to issues and tasks and applies sound, logical reasoning to complex problems * Proven communication and influencing skills, management of multiple stakeholders * Confident presentation with highly developed interpersonal and skills both written and verbal * Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Self-starter with ability to work in a team and alone, highly motivated and displaying strong initiative * Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills, ability to distill crisp message from robust data analysis * High attention to detail * Minimum two year commitment to the team JPMorgan Chase & Co. is a leading global financial services firm with assets of more than $2.6 trillion, over 240,000 employees and operations in over 60 countries.
