RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES: * Provide HR and organizational effectiveness consultation in alignment with business goals * Assess and provide leadership development programs and interventions across the business team * Develop and implement HR programs and initiatives that align to business strategy * Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning * Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention * Analyze trends and metrics in the development of solutions, programs and policies * Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations * Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to- day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with legal department as needed/required * Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) * Participate in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follow-up to ensure training objectives are met. * Act as program manager for cross - Cloudera HR initiatives EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE * 7-10+ years in increasingly complex HR Business Partner roles * Proven track record of identifying and developing interventions that have contributed to the success of a business * Strong consulting skills * Demonstrated ability to manage executive relationships, even in challenging situations * Experience managing and resolving complex employee relation issues. * Demonstrated ability to design and implement and cross organizational project * Competency across multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, employment law, diversity, performance management, federal and state employment laws * Excellent communication and influencing skills * Proven ability to take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations that can be implemented * 7-10+ years in increasingly complex HR Business Partner roles * Proven track record of identifying and developing interventions that have contributed to the success of a business * Strong consulting skills * Demonstrated ability to manage executive relationships, even in challenging situations * Experience managing and resolving complex employee relation issues. * Demonstrated ability to design and implement and cross organizational project * Competency across multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, employment law, diversity, performance management, federal and state employment laws * Excellent communication and influencing skills * Proven ability to take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations that can be implemented
