Your role: The Global IT team has an exciting opportunity for a Intern to work for the Office of the Chief Information and Digital Officer (CIDO) and assist us to re-build and improve our global technology and IT home page along with lots of other great projects. This position is available now, for hire in January, 2019. We understand the demands of being a student and we will be flexible on the schedule and hours if you are not able to accommodate a full time 40-hour work week. We ideally want someone who is available at least 20 hours/week. We are also flexible on the schedule, anytime during the work day M-F. Are you great at building brand awareness internally and embark upon new and exciting opportunities in a large corporate office, where you will work closely with, but not limited to: Ingram Micro's business units, global cross-functional teams, IT executive leads, engineers, and product managers on all levels within the company. You will be mentored and work on projects to support the CIDO, VP PMO and Business Operations and/or Executive Director of Strategy. Key deliverables: Re-build / improve global technology and IT home page with embedded Yammer feeds (internal blog), dashboards, tickers, etc. Assist in support of the collection and consolidation of global metrics; assist in the development of dashboard development. Other projects and support as required by the CIDO, VP PMO and Business Operations and/or Executive Director of Strategy. What you bring to the role: Must be actively enrolled in, or recently graduated (within the last semester or quarter) from an accredited college/university program in Computer Science, or Relevant Science and Math disciplines with an IT emphasis is required. Understanding of Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, and Business Science disciplines required. Keen interest in technology trends and learning new areas of knowledge in technology, digital and eCommerce. Motivated in advancing your career in technology and business.
