The Lake Erie Crushers are looking for an individual to fill a full-time, seasonal, position as Special Projects Coordinator / Assistant Stadium Operations Manager. This will be a salaried full-time position beginning February 11th 2019 and ending September 20th 2019. The Special Projects Coordinator will work with existing staff to coordinate, manage and oversee numerous special projects at Sprenger Health Care Stadium ranging from our Craft Beer Festival and Legends Softball games, to high school and college baseball, youth tournaments and kids camps during the Spring and Summer. Duties for this job include but are not limited to: Scheduling Budgeting Client and Vendor Relations Event supervision and execution This individual must have excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills, and be available to work a minimum of 40 hours a week, including nights and weekends. When not working on Special Projects, this individual will also serve as the Assistant Stadium Operations Manager, working with our VP of Stadium Operations . These duties include but are not limited to: Recruiting, scheduling and managing game day employees. Assisting with set-up, take down and any repairs needed for Kids Zone. Be capable of handling various facets of fan relations - i.e. comments, requests and suggestions. Creating and maintaining a clean, safe and fun ballpark for all fans. All facets of employee supervision, including janitorial services and in-game custodians/matrons. Serving as the liaison between the Crushers and various subcontractors. Assisting in all facets of preventative maintenance for the ballpark. Set-up/take down screens and cage for BP on the field pre-game. Repair mound, home plate and bullpen mounds for each game. Making any repairs to field/indoor batting cage equipment as needed.
