The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for driving social media execution and planning across platforms. They will also assist in trend development reporting, social media planning & best practices as well as influencer seeding programs to help meet brand objectives. Responsibilities include:
Creating and planning content through copy, imagery, video and other content types on JD Sports social properties Build the calendar for all JD social channels and blog Communicate the calendar and collect any feedback and needed changes throughout the JD organization Working closely with all JD stakeholders to set expectations and guide execution Contacting external influencers and maintaining relationships with them via email/phone, product sampling, and event invitations Assisting in planning, writing and editing blog content Tracking, reporting and analyzing social media content initiatives on a monthly basis Assisting in monthly editorial calendar planning across all JD owned social channels and JD blog Researching consumer-relevant content, trends and stories to assist in monthly trend reports. Monitor customer interaction with JD social channels and participate as needed to drive engagement within the community Monitors external blogs, social networking sites and forums and Competitors activities. Participates in the conversation as needed Identifies and actively obtains content derived from unique stories and interesting people that could be used for marketing content assets. Obtains content including videos and images from Vendors, external websites, bloggers and influencers to be posted on social media properties Additional duties and projects as required Minimum Requirements Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Computer and/or Technical Skills
Should have basic to expert knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Core Competencies: Communication Skills
