Adjunct Instructor - Architecture & Design - Alfred State College

The Department of Architecture and Design at Alfred State invites ongoing applications for adjunct faculty positions at the Lecturer level to teach undergraduate courses and studios focusing on architectural technology and interior design with a particular emphasis on the use of digital media and tools. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a multi-disciplinary approach to design education and be comfortable exploring and teaching new and emerging software, hardware, and technologies.
The ideal applicant will have earned a terminal degree in Architecture (an M.Arch, D.Arch, or similar) or a closely related design discipline. Experience as a student or faculty member at a small, residential campus is desirable. Prior teaching experience in the design disciplines at the undergraduate level is preferred.
