Scheduling Team Manager

This role is for a very experienced designer, who has excellent attention to detail, and can demonstrate management of a small team. This role is to ensure the scheduling team produce accurate, timely fabrication information using 2D and 3D cad as appropriate. Leading a team of 6 Schedulers, this candidate will ensure that the team accurately extract all components from the arrangements drawings, and produce reliable schedules or component drawings to facilitate procurement. They will be responsible for ensuring all work is checked in accordance with our operating procedures.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the fabrication drawings are delivered in accordance with contract program requirements and will liaise closely with senior contract management, project managers and QS.
It will be necessary to have a flexible approach to manage an often fluid project workload.
As a senior member of the design team, this candidate will be expected to pro-actively develop ways to be more efficient in an ever-more demanding environment.
Whilst this candidate is not expected to produce schedules regularly, they should be highly proficient in the use of AutoCAD. 3D experience with Inventor or solidworks will be advantageous.
Salary is negotiable, In the region of £50-£55 + Car allowance, Pension & Healthcare
