Vice President, Information Security - North Carolina Jobs in Raleigh, NC. Position Purpose: Senior Security Executive for the Health Plan, and member of the corporate Security leadership team. Will be responsible for standing up the security program and new capabilities for the Health Plan. Oversee health plan security capabilities levering key resources to include people, processes and technologies. Coordinate with Corporate Security Leadership in delivering day to day security capabilities at the health plan level. Develop budgets and priorities, ensuring plans and resource allocations are consistent with those budgets and priorities. Work with Global Security team to determine the organization's long-term systems and/or hardware needs to accomplish the organization's business objectives. Analyze the needs of departments and establish priorities for feasibility studies, systems design, and implementation to develop new and/or modify the health plan's information processing systems in alignment with corporate policies and procedures. Responsible for the security plans and activities of the health plan, coordinating with senior leaders inside and outside health plan, as well as strategic suppliers. Apply process and business expertise to impact business results. Responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance for all associated security controls. Member of the Global Security Risk team, responsible for developing and implementing security solutions that manage risk effectively for the health plan. Expected travel: 25%+.
