Responsibilities * Be the planner, the creator, the manager, and the thought leader * Work with SVP to articulate and implement a compelling vision for Viacom's messaging and marketing campaign strategy * Create and deliver an 'Always on' Marketing campaign and events strategy for Viacom and its stakeholders * Develop stakeholder-specific marketing plans that deliver on core objectives and creatively tell their 'story' * Collaborate with channel brand leads to amplify brand stories for trade audiences and build equity for the Viacom brand * Support channel brands with incremental marketing creative and media where required * Work with editorial team to filter Viacom's brand messages into compelling content and thought leadership for Viacom.com, Viacom newsroom, and all of Viacom's social channels * Work with Digital and Social team to effectively amplify Viacom messages with earned and paid media on digital / social platforms * Work with all parts of the Viacom Marketing org to set KPIs on behalf of our stakeholders and build recaps that effectively report results of key campaign and event activity * Manage and oversee briefing in of deliverables and collateral to agencies and as well as Viacom's Creative, Editorial, Events, and Digital and Social teams on behalf of our stakeholders * Align external corporate messaging by delivering a comprehensive set of sales and marketing materials to key stakeholders and internal sales organizations * Manage a team responsible for project managing campaigns (marketing & events), sales materials and tools * Collate and analyze campaign results / analytics and report back top internal and external stakeholders * Oversee project timelines and budgets Basic Qualifications * Minimum 10 yrs. in marketing journalism/publishing/media, spanning both editorial leadership and writing!
