Our customer has a heritage of delivering training for over 90 years and are an approved EASA Part 147, City and Guilds, IOSH, CMI and CITB training organisation.

They have a portfolio of accredited, tailored theory and practical programs including up skilling and hand skills development.

Due to a period of growth, they are seeking to appoint an experienced Instructor, with a strong background in devising and delivering Continuous improvement techniques.

This role will see the post holder engaging across the Aerospace, Defence & Manufacturing divisions, & liaising with all levels of the business management, shop floor & support staff.

Primary purpose of the role:

The Instructor is responsible to the Head of Funding & Vocational Training for the successful delivery and management of the business skills stream of apprenticeships, and the workshops associated with these.
The Instructor (Continuous Improvement) is responsible for the implementation of the new Improvement Technician Apprenticeship Standard, working with an established CI team within the business. This will include delivery, internal to the company, and also the promotion of these courses, ensuring that the learners compile a portfolio of evidence and
are fully supported towards EPA.
Support the delivery of Management workshops, sharing best practice and developing the team capability.
Support the continuous development of training programmes, ensuring due diligence and compliance to funding and awarding body requirements.
Maintain training records that comply with internal and external quality management.
Ensure that the company continue to meet the quality standards required to hold and maintain approvals with external awarding bodies, and partnerships with other providers.
Support the marketing and recruitment strategy, in conjunction with the management of Marshall Academy, for apprenticeships, both internal and external.

Essential Criteria & Qualifications:

'O' level standard, or GCSE grade A-C Maths and English.
Recognised assessment qualification, updated to TAQA standard (D32/33, A1)
Teaching qualification PTLLS or higher (to be completed in first 3 months if not held)
Proven experience working within a Continuous Improvement environment

Recognised Management qualification to Level 5 (or equivalent Management experience) Experience of Government funded training
