Lloyd recruitment services are pleased to be working with a leading company based in Edenbridge. They now have a requirement for a Customer Services Executive to join the team.
This role is both key and central to daily operations in the business. Priority is to provide an impeccable service whilst forging strong relationships with customers, external sales, who are often off site and other members of the team alike. Often internal sales are the first point of contact for most clients, you will be managing your own workload ensuring enquiries are answered promptly, their orders booked accurately, and their jobs delivered on time, to the correct location and in the condition that they expect.

Key elements of the role:
* Acting as a key customer point of contact, ensuring customers' requirements are met and all orders are dealt with efficiently
* Liaising with planning and production teams to negotiate production and delivery dates
* Issuing critical path dates to the customer and ensuring any changes are communicated
* Taking project briefs, order handovers or instructions from external sales staff, following all tasks through and keeping external sales informed of progress
* Managing project files, keeping all relevant paperwork up to date
* Ordering/briefing new product samples and subsequently obtaining internal manufacturing sample approval
* Ensuring the estimating department has the required information to make accurate pricing decisions, managing the quotation process and ensuring the customer receives our quotation when required
* Preparing quotations, sending to the customer and then following up where necessary
* Ensuring raw materials are ordered in time for production deadlines and informing customer of any changes or delays. Ensuring raw material lead-times are communicated to the customer
* Ensuring artwork is received on time and managing the artwork approval procedure
* Issuing instructions to repro department for new artworks and liaising with customer on any artwork issues
* Booking orders for both repeat and new jobs making sure that all internal procedures are completed
* Liaising with the QA team on any problems arising from the customer, ensuring that the customer is kept informed on any investigations for quality issues
* Maintaining and issuing customer stock reports as required
* Processing call-offs for delivery
* Ensuring stock that is over 3 months old is delivered or invoiced as agreed with the customer
* Communicating and updating progress with external Sales Manager/s on a daily basis
Full time, 37½ hour week, Monday to Friday, 0900 - 1730 hours with one-hour lunch break
Salary - £18K - £21K DOE
Holidays - 24 days plus all Bank Holidays ( 3 - 5 days to be kept back for annual Xmas shutdown)
A probationary period of 6 months is applicable to the role. Additional benefits (pension and healthcare) can be applied for after a minimum of 12 months service
