The client:

Our client is a specialist in high performance technologies that has developed an innovative solution for the polymer industry serving automotive, aerospace, building, packaging sectors amongst others. The company has experienced significant growth over the last years and is now looking for a Sales Manager for Eastern Europe based in the Benelux region to drive the step change that will take the business to the next level in this

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* To meet the assigned quarterly and annual sales target

* Provide accurate data for quarterly and annual Forecasting Reviews (CRM)

* Managing existing client base and developing new business

* Identify dealers and agents in order to build a distributor network in the assigned area (Eastern Europe)

* Identify manufacturing partners for localized production in Eastern Europe

* Gain an in-depth understanding of the Company's products, technology and their possible applications across various sectors

* Understand prospective client requirements through product trials to ensure sales conversion

* Submit activity and results reports as required to enable fine tuning of product strategy in line with market conditions

* Keep abreast of market developments to provide leads on opportunities as they occur

* Demonstrate business acumen to highlight/sell benefits of companys products

* Manage/ Lead company's relationship with production partners, B2B product manufacturers and property consumers with focus on closing sales

* Participate in Marketing and Promotion activities within the sales area and EMEA

* Use CRM to document sales pipeline and maintain Eastern Europe customer database

* Provide data and insights for quarterly and Annual Sales & Marketing Plan Review (CRM)

* Participate and produce regular (weekly/bi-monthly) Sales Review sessions

* Participate and contribute to internal Business Reviews

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and knowledge:

* Successful record in field sales and/or business development

* Proven background selling into any of the following sector: automotive, aerospace, rubber products, consumer products or chemical

* Familiarity with one or more of the following segments: conductive additives (inc. Carbon Black), polymers and resin additives, resins, elastomers, thermoplastics, composites, coatings

* Goal oriented, self-motivated and with excellent negotiation skills

* Frequent Travel

* Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential, other European languages, would be a plus

For EU roles, candidates must be eligible to work and live in the European Union.
