Job title: Associate Procurement Graduate

Location: Warwick

Salary: £33,000 to £35,000

Contract: 6 to 12 months

Hybrid working 2/3 days in the office and remaining days from home

Our client a leading energy provider in the Warwick area has a requirement for a Graduate Procurement Associate to join their team in an exciting and vital transformation period. Creating cleaner, greener systems that serves generations to come.

This opportunity provides a fantastic experience for someone wanting to enter the professional world of procurement, coupled with an interest in a large energy provider.

In this role you will be working in the operational procurement area of the business dealing with the purchasing of goods and services the business needs. As an associate procurement partner working in a team to support senior buyers in the department, we will expect you to be commercially aware and adapt an overall willingness to learn processes and operational procurement on a day-to-day basis. You will be working and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will be forward-thinking and technically minded. You must have good numeracy skills Microsoft Office experience especially in Excel.


  • Educated to degree level is essential, ideally business focused degree
  • 1 years' experience in a similar role would be ideal, although not essential
  • Experience in stakeholder management and building relationships.
  • Strong analytic skills and the ability to assimilate and present complex information.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
  • Commercial awareness and forward-thinking
  • A strong customer focus and desire to develop processes to improve business performance
  • Organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Enjoyment of working with a wide range of different people and role types

Core training and ongoing support is available for the successful candidate, provided by the client and Adecco Early in Careers.
