Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Pool Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position.



In this role, you will provide speech therapy services to residents, including evaluations, planning individual treatment programs and goals, actual treatments, discharge planning, and performing other related duties as required.  Supports activities which build and maintain a Rehab Center of Excellence.



Responsibilities:

The critical skills and knowledge required to successfully perform the functions of the position are normally obtained thru:



Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology



An active Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) is required



A valid Speech Language Pathology license or eligibility for license in the state(s) where services are rendered



2-3 years of experience in a skilled nursing and/or outpatient rehab environment is preferred



Experience in adult neurologic, cardiac, cognition, dysphagia, and/or general rehabilitation is preferred



Proficient in electronic documentation & reviewing electronic medical records
