About the role:
Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager to grow, nurture, develop and retain new and existing business for the company in selected sales markets or territories within the market. As a BDM you will be aligned to generate new business and to support and grow existing customers. The role will report into the Head of Sales and will be part of the wider business sales team.

Main responsibilities:
• Follow the pre-defined sales cadence and sales process to ensure the development of quality pipeline that leads to winning and growing business.
• Management of activities in the sales territory and regularly tracking of actual sales vs. plan to achieve sales and performance targets
• Identify new prospective clients and nurture good working relationships with them
• Deliver integrated solutions in professional presentations with a detailed understanding of requirements to prospective customers
• Writing proposals or presentations
• Issuing forecast reports detailing your business pipeline and expected successes in any given period

Candidate Requirements:
• Extensive experience in business development management
• Strong all-round communication and negotiation / influencing skills
• Passionate about building strong relationships with key organisations
• Able to identify opportunities whilst managing relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Positive ‘can do attitude and takes responsibility ‘ownership’ to achieve solutions
• Positive proactive can-do work ethic with a restless drive for improvement and realising new revenue opportunities
• Strong commercial skills in developing and executing B2B sales
• Proven ability to achieve exceptional sales results
