The Bookkeeper is responsible for recording and updating financial information for our companies and assisting with Accounts Payable functions. This position works collaboratively with the Finance & Administration Team and reports directly to the Accounting Manager.

The ideal candidate:

Has 1-3 years of experience working as part of an accounting, shared services or finance team

Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and standards

Thrives working collaboratively with high volumes and important deadlines

Has strong follow through with assigned tasks and is extremely organized, detail oriented, and self-motivated

Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrates a strong work ethic

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain sensitive financial information, records, and files (e.g., invoices, check requests, and payment records)

Process accounts payable information

Review invoices from vendors for accuracy and validity

Process payments and write checks as needed

Receive incoming invoices and enter data into the accounts payable and accounting systems

Communicate with vendors regarding discrepancies with billing; follow up on invoices that are expected but not promptly received

Reconcile vendor statements

Perform basic reconciliations of various Balance Sheet accounts

Provide information for periodic financial reports

Ensure company credit card charges are recorded accurately and completely with proper approvals

Ensure Taproom sales are accurately posted to accounting system

Manage petty cash process

Other tasks as needed


Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (or related software)

Experience with Microsoft Business Central or other accounting software programs

Ability to operate related office equipment, such as MacOS computers and copier

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Ability to anticipate work needs

Ability to represent our core values with vendors, customers, and partners

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail


This is a full-time position and starting pay will be commensurate with experience. Benefits include paid time-off, paid holidays, profit sharing, and company medical, dental, vision and 401k plans, among others.
