Due to expansion, our already established client, is looking to recruit 3 experienced business development managers. These 3 roles will be split across the North/ Midlands and South of the UK.

You'll have some IT knowledge as well as a proven track record in field based sales. Reporting into a Bradford based Head office, you will be able to visit site for update meetings, however, these roles are predominantly field based.

27-30K Basic

70K OTE realistic

Car allowance plus mileage

As part of the Sales team, the Business Development Manager will support business growth through proactive lead generation and a network of contacts to attract new clients, research possible new market opportunities, and the identification of cross-sales and up-sale opportunities to the B2B, Public Sector & Channel/Partner Markets.

Supporting the customer journey will include gathering honest feedback and after sale care and support.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Business Development Manager will support business growth through proactive lead generation to increase penetration within their designated territories and achieve agreed sales targets.

Skills/Experience:

Previous experience within a Sales environment

Experience within an external Sales role

Full UK Driving License (Clean)

Working knowledge of CRM systems and industry best practice

Long-term management of the relationship - company management (full structure top to bottom)

A high level of sales competence including a good working knowledge of the products and services and how these are suitable for the customers. This will include:

* Pitching products and services

* Presenting features and benefits

* Objection handling

* How to interpret customer needs into an appropriate solution

* Creating customer solutions

* upsell and cross-sell

* Closing sales

* Building quick quality relationships with prospective clients

* Face-to-face meeting management

* Understanding of customer solution requirements and how to sell Solution selling

* High-level technical scoping to respond to customer needs and requirements

* Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients
