Graduate / PA /Carer / Support Worker to First Year Art & Design Student - UCA Farnham
Start Date - ASAP
Working - Hourly 36/48hrs per week
Pay - £15 per hour Plus Student Support
Location - Farnham
About our Client
Our client is a First year Art & Design student studying her degree at The University for the Creative Arts - Farnham.
He has a diagnosis of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and is a full-time wheelchair user.
His many hobbies include Socialising, going to the Pub & meeting friends, Gaming and films.
The client leads a very active social life by meeting up with friends and family.
With an amazing sense of humour, our client enjoys going out to social events, such as parties, pubs and nights out.

"I have a great sense of humour which can be quite dark at times.
I m also known to be quite quiet when meeting people but once I get to know people, I become louder and chattier!!
I also get more confident once I have had I drink but I only occasionally get drunk.
I love music and I like many different genres, artists and bands
which leads to me having quite random playlists!!
I mostly listen to Juice World, Ariana Grande, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Panic at The Disco, Bring Me The horizon, Machine Gun Kelly, Trippie Redd, Metallica
and many more. "
About the Job

You will provide our client's academic support and health and social care.
This is also a "flat mate" type of role which goes far beyond simply care work, and includes all the fun things you'd expect a first-year university student to be doing, like getting out and about to see friends, going to parties, the cinema, going on holiday and much more!
Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.
5.6 week's holiday pro rata.
About You
You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in her particular needs is provided.
You will need
- To be physically fit, calm, patient and caring
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
- To have a good sense of humour
- Covid-19 vaccine preferred but not essential!
- Driver preferred but not essential.
- A mature and responsible attitude
- Good communication skills
- To be fluent in English.
- To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
