About this role
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to fill the role of Senior Consultant to support our growing professional sustainability consultancy team. This position offers a very exciting opportunity to work with high-profile blue-chip companies. Core Responsibilities
The core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Sustainability/ESG strategy and environmental management system development, including policy, procedures and monitoring approaches
- Client and external relationship management, including engagement with heads of sustainability, executive teams, fund and asset managers, property and facilities management teams
- Team management, including Consultants and Junior Consultants
- Manage large sustainability data collection programmes coordinating multiple parties
- Monitoring and analysis of sustainability data
- Coordination of building-level sustainability improvement programmes
- Sustainability disclosure / reporting advisory and management (e.g. GRESB, INREV, EPRA, UNPRI, TCFD)
- Supporting industry engagement through representation at industry groups, attending conferences etc.
Essential Skills & Requirements
The right candidate must have the following essential skills:
- A passion for furthering the sustainability agenda
- Highly articulate and numerate
- Strong people skills
- Understanding of managing projects to a budget
- Advanced IT skills
- Degree or Masters in related subject
- Detailed understanding of UK environmental legislation (ESOS, EPCs, MEES)
DESIRABLE Skills & Requirements
The right candidate may have the following desired skills:
- Membership of an appropriate and recognised professional body (e.g. Chartered Environmentalist, IEMA Practitioner Membership)
- Environmental and Energy Audit Experience for commercial buildings
- Second language desirable but not essential
- BREEAM in Use Assessor, Fitwel, or WELL Accredited Practitioner
