Organization & Team Overview: The Firmwide Regulatory Reporting & Analysis (FRRA) team resides within the office of the CFO. The group is responsible for the execution and delivery against the Firm's regulatory reporting requirements to its U.S. regulators. The team has end-to-end responsibility for US regulatory reporting and capital stress testing, including the design, implementation, and oversight of the execution, analysis, control and governance frameworks. Its mandate includes determining the appropriate investment in people, processes and technology to improve the accuracy, completeness and consistency of the Firm's US regulatory reporting and capital stress testing submissions, as well as the implementation of new requirements and guidelines as they are published. The objectives of the FRRA Team are to provide leadership on all aspects of US regulatory reporting and Firmwide capital stress-testing, including both internal and regulatory requirements Position Overview: This position is within the external reporting team and will be focused on guiding the direction of data sourcing both tactically and strategically for the external reporting team. Tactical improvements will be driven by working with key business stakeholders to identify inefficiencies in processes, opportunities for centralization of work, and improving data quality. By utilizing knowledge of the data and the related gaps; this role will drive prioritization of the strategic program plan. Through partnership with technology, finance analysts, and the business architecture team; the focus will be on delivering new products, reports, and increased functionality to the strategic finance platform (FRI). Using natural synergies and partnerships with all lines of business the team will bring the next phase of finance reporting to fruition. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Working within a transverse project/production structure. * Lead Agile work stream in an autonomous structure while meeting program goals and deadlines. * Support the continuous on-boarding of strategic deliverables. * Engaging with line of business, operations, and project partners to manage demand. * Managing relations, communicating and presenting to various levels of stakeholders. * Ensure that project milestones/goals are met. * Develop project plans * Ensure that implementations are completed on time, within constraint, and meet expectations. * Support the operations team through the continuous on-boarding of strategic deliverables. * Agile Focus Areas: leadership, motivation, communication, influencing, decision making, awareness, and trust building This position requires strong interpersonal and partnership skills. Also, the ability to partner with Risk & Finance Technology, Project Teams and Line of Business Teams in order to execute on established deliverables is key. The candidate should be able to translate technical jargon into real world scenarios for articulation. The candidate will be required to work with a sense of urgency and be able to balance and prioritize numerous activities. Previous operations experience in reconciliation, data quality research, and data visualization experience is a plus. Qualifications Qualifications Experience: * Candidates should have a bachelor's degree finance or related discipline. * 8+ years relevant work experience. * 5+ Years People Management Experience (Team size 5+) * Prior operations experience. * Excellent leadership, interpersonal and time management skills. * Proven track record of designing solutions and solving for scale. * Project Management exposure, specifically in the Agile methodology. Soft Skills: * Strong verbal and written communication skill with the ability to present information at varying levels of detail depending on the audience. * Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure. * Strong work ethic and keen attention to detail and accuracy. * Able to develop, clearly present, and draw conclusions. * Aptitude and desire to learn quickly, be flexible, and think strategically. * Ability to handle numerous deliverables concurrently to deliver high quality results in committed timeframes while being able to adapt to changing priorities. * Client business focused; able to work collaboratively and build strong partnerships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
