  • A mixture of technical understanding and inclination for practical business intuition

  • Strong communication, organisational, and analytic skills

  • A highly organised and systematised approach

  • A high level of drive and ability to self-motivate

  • Strong writing skills with a minimalist approach

  • Good listening abilities, and aptitude for crystallising and summarising points made by others

  • High degree of initiative

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

  • Bachelors Degree in a technical or analytical field

  • Some programming experience desirable

Responsibilities

  • Apply logic-led reasoning to strategic plans initiated by senior management and architect them in a coherent and concise fashion

  • Participate in group brainstorming and plan-building meetings and synthesise ideas generated by in-house experts

  • Synthesise ideas into clear objectives and tactics towards a defined goal

  • Draw out, crystallise and escalate strategic issues to senior management so key information is ready for decisions to be taken

  • Produce detailed project-specific instructions for implementation of defined tactics, including time estimation and resource requirements from around the company

  • Be responsible for the implementation of assigned projects that have been generated during the plan-formation process

  • Assess the success of defined plans after six months of implementation

  • Work closely with other members of the Strategic Initiatives group, including close partnership with the Strategic Initiatives Project Manager

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the company and help groups interpret plans so they can be efficiently executed
