As a Senior Payroll Officer (based in the heart of Brussels) you are responsible for the full timely and correctly performance of the salary calculations for A to Z. For you own specific business unit you are advising employees regarding social legislation and other HR related items. You are also responsible for the correct handling of the HR administration and provide payroll related reports to our management and accounting department. You will also work closely with our other Senior Payroll Officer. You take care accurately and timely of the monthly payroll closure in collaboration with the Sdworx. Make sure all systems and HRIS database is up to date and all data's accurate. Ensure a correct information flow of all payroll and personnel changes with an impact on the group insurance (KBC) and hospitalization insurance (DKV) and check the invoices to ensure that the changes are reflected. You are the first point of contact for all employee queries. Acts as an internal point of contact regarding social law and fiscal regulations within the HR field. Continuously follows the most recent trends and development within his specific HR field. Prepares and submit employment contracts related to the engagement of final candidate. Acts as contact person between the candidate and the recruiter relating to the contract in line with the stated HR policies. Plays a part in the introduction of new staff (explaining the house rules, procedures and the use of HR applications, etc.). Ensure the preparation of amendments to employment contracts. Pro-actively inform the HR team regarding changes in social legislation, advise the employees and management regarding social related questions. Provide the monthly payroll related KPI's and others reports towards the management, the work counsel, HRBP, finance department and the government. Ensures relationships with various social organizations and administration. Keeps the functional analysis procedures of the service up to date. Improve HR processes and procedures and participates in the development of HR policies & projects. You have a Bachelor degree with at least 5 years of professional experience in an HR department as payroll officer or in a social secretariat. French or Dutch mother language, you have a very good knowledge of the other national language, English will be asset (oral & written). You have in depth knowledge of payroll calculation, Belgian labor and social laws, wages taxation regulations as well.
