A bit about the team:
The Video Team sits at the creative heart of MVF, working alongside internal stakeholders on various different internal brands, across multiple online channels. No project is ever the same, whether it's creating YouTube pre-roll adverts for our B2C brands or BuzzFeed style PR videos, some of which have been featured in the Telegraph and The Indy100.
What will you be doing?
As a Video Editor at MVF, you will join our fast-paced Video Team and will be producing a high volume of videos each month across our B2B and B2C brands. Using your post-production skills you will be responsible for creating a wide range of video projects including editorial, promotional, corporate, social and 'buzz-feed style' outreach videos. You will be able to use Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Lightroom, Media Encoder. If you can use Illustrator, Pluraleyes, Screenflow, Carbon Copy Cloner, this would be a bonus!
As a Video Editor you will
Take part in the ideation process, contributing ideas and creative solutions, whilst working with internal stakeholders to hone their ideas
Edit and create motion graphics videos in response to briefs, working quickly to a high standard and understand how to modify content for various different audiences.
Use Wipster to work through stakeholder feedback and will strive to develop the quality and efficiency of videos
Support the team with all post-production related issues and technical issues, including participation in discussion regarding software and hardware upgrades and researching and implementing new/updated products/programs and solutions
Ensure all administrative tasks are completed, including archiving and mastering projects on completion and ensuring the execution of overnight server backups is completed.
Be a team player and help out on shoots where needed. You may also oversee Freelance Editors and Motion Graphics Designers where required
Develop technical expertise and researching new systems and products to ensure the best post-production practice.
You will have worked as a Freelance Editor or have post-production house experience
You will be a hands-on, organised and methodical creative with the ability to help define the post-production workflow to ensure efficient running of projects.
You will have the ability to work quickly to a high standard and understand how to modify content for various different audiences.
