The Role
Rosebourne offers a full menu from breakfast through to afternoon tea with all with all meals prepared daily in our kitchens using fresh meat, fish and seasonal produce. These are sourced from our farm shop and, where possible, local producers. A lot of time has been to perfect our recipes and to source the local ingredients that take pride of place on our menus and as Chef de Partie you will be responsible for preparing and presenting freshly prepared dishes that consistently delight our guests.
The duties of Chef de Partie will include:
* Preparing food using fresh, local ingredients
* Cooking food to order, ensuring this is of the required high standard and produced on time
* Keeping up to date with new products, menus and daily specials
* Keeping kitchen and equipment clean, tidy and organised
* Following instructions and procedures given by the kitchen management team
* Taking the lead in the kitchen when required
* Adhering to food safety requirements
* Supporting Commis Chef / Kitchen Porter duties when needed
* Ensuring personal cleanliness is to a high standard at all times (clothes, hands, PPE etc)
* Attending staff meetings and relevant training courses
* Other duties as required within the department and wider store
