Development Analyst Salary: £28,000 - £36,000, depending on experience Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent Role Description Aura Power is a leading global developer of renewable energy projects, founded in 2013 and headquartered in Bristol, UK. We develop large scale solar and battery storage projects in Canada, USA, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Lithuania and the UK, working closely with landowners and local stakeholders to develop our sites to the highest standards. By focussing on best-in-class development processes and technology we have delivered a truly scalable development model and our team prides itself on managing and developing the highest quality solar and battery storage projects globally. We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Development Analyst, working on development and business support across a range of projects and pipelines. We are looking for someone highly organised with strong analytical and problem solving skills who wants to build a career in renewable energy. This will be a varied role, ideal for someone looking to develop their skills and build a career in the renewable energy sector. Day-to-day work will include a mix of technical, analytical, problem solving and project management tasks. For the right candidate, there is potential for this role to grow and develop according to their interests and abilities. The role will involve working remotely with colleagues in other countries and time zones. You will be based in Aura s Bristol office, with the option for flexible / remote working. We envisage the role being full time, but will consider part-time or job-share applications. Essential - High 2.i or first class degree in science, engineering or related discipline; or equivalent work experience - Experience or interest in renewable energy - Highly organised with good time-management skills - Self-motivated, able to manage own workload and clearly communicate progress - Excellent numerical, analytical and problem solving skills - Confident communicator in English, both written and verbal - Positive attitude and willing to get stuck into a range of varied tasks and projects - Right to work in the UK Desirable - Experience using advanced functions of Google Sheets and other GSuite software - Experience with Google Earth and GIS, particularly QGIS - Project management experience or interest
