Principal Optical Design Engineer

An excellent opportunity in for a Principal Optical Design Engineer Germany, for a leading firm at the forefront of technology.

The Principal Optical Design Engineer will be expected to perform R&D in new optical technologies, participate in the planning of the optical design roadmap and be involved in all stages of the process from analysis to prototyping.

Skills required:

• In depth experience in optical design and systems for imaging and VR/ AR display
• Expertise in optical design software and simulation
• Good knowledge in Geometric optics and diffraction optics
• Good understanding of optical components manufacturing and testing
