The incumbent of this position serves as Director, Human Resources Office for the Johnson Space Center (JSC) and is a key member of the senior management team. In this role, the incumbent reports to the Director of the Human Resources Services Division in the Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer and serves as the principal senior advisor to the JSC Director on all human capital matters. Manages the development and administration of an extremely complex and comprehensive human resources management program for JSC. Executes broad program responsibilities which include leadership of workforce planning, hiring and staffing strategies, employee performance management, Federal position classification, career and leadership development, executive services, organizational design, and Federal labor-management relations. Manages a variety of organizational development activities, including major organization assessment surveys, culture and climate studies; and oversees the development of group problem solving and action planning processes. In close cooperation with JSC's Equal Opportunity and Diversity Office, analyzes and assesses the status ofdiversity and inclusion efforts, identifies barriers and develops strategic diversity and inclusion plans, andworks collaboratively with supervisors and managers to advance diversity and inclusion goals. Spearheads and participates in collaborative efforts across the Agency to develop new human resources programs, initiatives, and strategies that leverage Agency resources to ensure unique and critical skills are developed and maintained by a diverse workforce in support of Agency common goals. Education There are no education requirements for this position.
