Technical Service Manager, Global - Catalyst Location: Location Flexible Country: United States Company Order Number: 6520 # of openings: 1 __________________________________________________ Description Technical Service Manager - Refinery Catalysts Flexible location Catalyst Technologies has recently completed a bold project aimed at defining the best size and shape of the commercial organisation to better serve our customers and focus in line with the sector strategy. The Technical Service function has been rebalanced to reflect customer needs with more clarity provided between sales and technical service functions. The Technical Service Manager is responsible for ensuring the consistent delivery of superior customer-facing technical service by the global Technical Service team to all customers, including Key Accounts. Key responsibilities * Setting the best practice direction, guidelines and approaches for the global Technical Service team * Enable delivery of long-term value for JM and customers through provision of superior technical services * Monitoring and managing consistent deployment of principles and activities which will build long-term value for JM and customers * Establishing and implementing information and best practice sharing mechanisms within the function to leverage the expertise and value of the function * Structuring, developing and leading the team within the organisation * Extract maximum value from the segmented customer base through developing and deploying the appropriate level technical services * Utilizing customer interactions to feed technical and market information back into the business to enable JM to enhance product offering * Coordinating with Regional Sales Managers to ensure consistent global customer service * Developing opportunities for the introduction of new products to Key Accounts * Ensuring all activities are undertaken in accordance with JM code of ethics and EHS policy and practices Are you the ideal candidate?
