The opportunity is to join our Credit Investment Grade Trading team in London as a VP or Director depending on experience, with a focus on models and analytics for automated quoting and execution of corporate bonds.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Development, deployment and support of algorithms for automated quoting and trading of USD and EUR corporate bonds
  • Research, back-testing and reporting on quoting strategies and ongoing improvements to related infrastructure
  • Applying machine learning and statistical analysis to market movements and trade data
  • Working with the trading desk to ensure optimal usage of automated strategies and analytical tools

Work closely with Traders and Quant's on the Credit desk to understand the market and develop pricing solutions.
Take ownership and monitor existing USD Algo trading in London hours and lead the development of a new Algo focused on EUR corporate bonds
Provide regular status updates to our senior business partners (Managing Director level), and ensure the direction of the business is understood by all members of the team
Promotes and ensures compliance to the enterprise risk controls of the organization and external regulations

You Offer

7+ years experience in an algorithmic trading environment within capital markets industry.
Proven track record in creating, maintaining, enhancing algorithmic trading engines, order management systems and smart order routing solutions.
In-depth Knowledge of algorithmic trading and experience running Greenfield projects.
Knowledge of Pre and Post trade analytics, machine learning and pattern recognition is advantageous.
Extensive knowledge of Java and Object Oriented programming required
Statistical programming in Python, application of time series analysis and the applications to signal generation is essential
Thorough understanding of high capacity/low latency infrastructure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience processing high frequency real time market data products required (e.g. Exegy, Multicast Exchange feeds, Reuters)
Experience with database applications and working knowledge of SQL
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
