Pacific Coast Cleaning, Inc. is hiring Bid Coordinator/Inside Sales/Estimator-Entry Level for our El Cajon office!!! Pacific Coast Cleaning, Inc. (PCC) is a leading cleaning and construction cleaning firm with over 15 years of proven expertise. Our firm's capabilities encompass all types ofprojects, from complete ground-up development to large Multi-family projects, airports and general interior remodels. We are currently searching for a self-motivated, goal setter Bid Coordinator/Inside Sales/Estimator with an excellent team collaboration skills, be result oriented and with passion for good work. We seek qualified candidates who share our vision, values and commitment to superior service. This role will be responsible for managing all ITB s (invitations to bid), put together the estimate for project, submit proposal, follow up on all bids, locate other bidders, monitor bid boards for new work, attend job walks if needed, and research potential new customers. They are the point of contact for all bids in progress, and are tasked with following established procedures to keep the department organized and ahead of schedule. Flexibility is crucial, as bid deadlines and requirements are often subject to change. Responsibilities and Duties Core Competencies & Responsibilities: Follow Bid Roadmap to coordinate bid process from receipt of RFP to submission of bid deliverables to client. Manage bid calendar & board with new and revised deadlines Download bid documents and construction drawings and specifications to properly assemble the estimate Use phone, email, and all other sources to follow up on bids to find status of award Mine for information on bid board to find new potential projects and make contract with customers. Phone calls are a significant portion of the job, and are critical to success in the position. Manage CRM with bid information and status of award Qualifications and Skills Qualifications: * Minimum 1 year of experience in clerical/administrative support in construction with a commercial general contractor, preferred but not required * Minimum 1 years of proven customer service * PC proficiency is essential with Microsoft Office and a strong working knowledge of Excel * Estimating or Inside Sale experience a plus Skills & Abilities: * Strong communication skills, problem solving and interpersonal faculties. * Ability to work well under pressure with an acute sense of urgency. * Be results oriented, have a proactive approach and deadline sensitive driven. * Ability to work independently and/or in a group setting with little direction. * Ability to be highly organized, detail oriented & ability to prioritize multiple tasks at once through to completion. * Ability to work in a small company culture with strong team environment.
