As a Store Supervisor you will be expected to carry out a number of vital roles in order to maintain our unique reputation for high level customer service and represent our company in the best possible way. Manage and monitor staff performance and when necessary create and coach a cohesive team that are continuously developed to deliver against store targets, whilst complying with Company procedures and policies. You will contribute to management's efficient running of the store, encouraging sales and help prevent stock loss and maintaining high presentation standards.
Staff Management: You will be a positive role model. Always leading by example. Provide support to the daily running of the store with regards to staff deployment, breaks and stockroom tasks. Understand all company directives and be able to answer any queries from staff regarding issues that arise throughout the week. Plan your day in accordance to the manager's requirements and deliver positive briefings, provide incentives and support underperforming staff. Incentives and motivational ideas to be thought of and communicated in a positive way to the team to exceed personal targets and deliver positive and negative ROC's in accordance to ability. Personal appearance is crucial within the Company, you are to ensure all staff wear store stock according to season at all times. You should take great personal pride in how you personally present and style yourself and ALWAYS lead by example.
Training: Carry out pre-determined basic training instructions under the guidance of the company sales competency book. Provide a high level of training throughout each week, ensuring that new starters are mentored and complete training within the correct time scale.
Store Management: Pre-determined plans that maximize sales within the store. Work towards achieving all aims and objectives set out by senior management for that week/quarter. Check shop floor standards and security procedures are being followed through daily floor walks, highlighting any issues. Be actively accountable on store visits. Daily standards are an integral part of your role. Presentation of the store, stock and staff must be maintained to the highest standards at all times, always representing the company brand properly. Personal appearance is crucial, you are to wear diffusion/Twenty9 stock at all times during your working day. You should take great personal pride in how you present and style yourself and lead by example. You must monitor how staff present themselves on a daily basis. To be aware and adhere to all company policies, including health and safety requirements, taking responsibility for personal safety and our customers in the event of an emergency. Deal with customer complaints in a professional manner, in line with company procedures and liaise with senior management. Dealing with incidents confidently and professionally, customer/staff. Responsible for first Aid on the premises. Report accidents and thefts as per company procedure
Reporting: Provide accurate and timely reporting to store manager/assistant manager on store performance including EOD reporting. During your working week report back to senior management whilst providing structured information at weekly managers' meetings.
Store Admin: TNA, store figures, EOD /EOW reports, Rota's.
Staff Admin: RTW,LTW, ROC. Reviews 11 week/11 month. Till discrepancies, investigating Stock loss Management: Oversee and manage security procedures laid down by the company and store management team Provide an additional management presence on the shop floor overseeing accurate tag check 's, bag checks and personal searches when on shift. Within guidelines you will supervise the shop floor, ensuring all tasks are done to correct standards and you are security conscious at all times. Security is kept high and any discrepancies or concerns reported correctly as per company procedure. Be security conscious at all times, communicating any observations with your team and ensuring staff are deployed correctly on the floor.
Communication: Conduct regular conversations with the management/team and contribute to all staff meetings and be confident when conducting staff briefings. Form an integral part of the store management team through regular meetings, bringing valued, concise and accurate opinions. Ensure that hourly figures are delivered to the team and KPI's are delivered and understood. Ensure that communication areas are up to date, provide relevant information and have clear information for that week. Liaise with other store management, area management and head office.
Recruitment: Assist in CV screening and group/one to one interviews. Carry out store inductions and new starter set ups. Carry out basic training and development of successful candidates
