Reed HR are working with a well known Educational Institute to recruit a HR Policy Manager on a permanent basis.

The main purpose of this role will be to maintain and develop the Institutes Employment Policies and Procedures on a rolling regular basis to ensure they are streamlined and fit for purpose. You will also deliver the HR communications across the Institute, playing a key role in the implementation of the overall HR Strategy.

Some of the roles and responsibilities of this position are as follows:

- To create, write, and update the Insitute's Policies and Procedures to meet current Legislation requirements.

- Ensure that training is in place to support the implementation of policies and procedures.

- Liaise with Trade Unions effectively with regards to Processes and policies, negotiating or consulting on the development or revision of policy.

- Ensure that an effective HR communications plan is put in place which will provide regular updates, such as HR Newsletters, Bulletins etc.

- Act as the HR Super User ensuring the HR web pages on the intranet are relevant, engaging and up to date.

- Work on various HR Projects with the SLT as required.

To be successful in this role, you will be a subject matter expert, who is highly skilled in leading on HR employment policy, procedure, and maintenance.
