To manage the design-development and delivery of several bridge demolition and reconstructions, in support of the wider aim to provide a clear Route to W12 and Electrification clearances between Bedford and Corby on the MML.
Acting in the role of NR Project Manager, the preferred candidate should have a good and balanced understanding of the application of planning, stakeholder management, contract management, risk management, consents (land, NRSWA) and design management within a Network Rail organisational context. There are specialists within each of these functional areas that will provide support, and the role of the Project Manager will be to provide direction and prioritisation to all of these differing skillsets.
As the preferred candidate you will possess good communication skills and be able to explain complex problems and action plans in a concise manner, at various different levels within the NR and third-party organisations. An understanding of GRIP and DWWP processes is required
You will make pragmatic, disciplined and systematic use of project management skills and processes.
