About the role;
The TM Operative role in an essential role at Chevron and some would argue that it sits at the heart of everything we do. As a part-time Traffic Management Operative, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and removing temporary traffic management, you will deploy cones, signs, frames, sandbags and other equipment on both high and low speed roads. As well as including traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses, so meticulous attention to detail is a must.
General hours of work will be 24 hours a week over the weekend on a 2x 12 our shift routine.
You will be a highly motivated team player with the urge to progress in the business. People first is a key principle for us, therefore you will be; hardworking, committed, enthusiastic, flexible and have a real passion for working within traffic management, understanding the importance of our relationships with our customers and someone who takes exceptional pride in the work you do. You will be able to follow instructions as directed, however you will also be able to use your own initiative when necessary. You will be in good fitness and health as the job can sometimes be very physically demanding. You must hold a full UK driving licence and pass Drug&Alcohol test.
- Hold a 12 A/B or 12D qualification (fully carded)
- Have the ability to pass a safety critical worker medical
- Hold a full driving licence (preferably a HGV licence)
- CSCS Card
- Traffic Management: 1 year
