Your new company
Our client are a community organisation who contribute immensely to the local area. They have recently gotten the green light to build a new community centre in the local area and are seeking the services of a suitably qualified construction professional to take the lead in this development.
Your new role
As Project Manager for this project you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a £500K community centre for this area. Taking the project from building warrant to final handover to your client you will be responsible for the following key activities
- Procurement of suitably qualified subcontractors
- Letting of commercially sensible contracts
- Development of realistic programme
- Supervision of works onsite in a safe manner
- Liaison with project stakeholders ( Architect, Engineers , Subcontractors, Client)
What you'll need to succeed
You will be from a construction background with expertise in the project management of small to medium size commercial/community projects. Our client are happy to consider candidates from a trade or technical background but you must be able to both plan and deliver the works onsite. Our client are a community organisation with a positive ethical philosophy so the successful candidate must fit in with this ethos in how they run and deliver this project.
What you'll get in return
This project is due to commence in the next 2 weeks and will last approximately 14 weeks. Our client are happy to pay a competitive hourly rate and will offer a supportive and positive work environment.
