Project Management - Graduate scheme

Where you can join us
Places on our Project Management graduate programme for Autumn 2019 are available within our Marine sector. But no matter which team you join, you could be based anywhere in the UK. That's why we ask all our graduates to be flexible and willing to move during their programme.
What you'll be doing
Expect to work on every kind of project across our organisation- from design and manufacture to in-service support and capability enhancement projects. Whatever the task at hand, risks need to be identified and managed, stakeholder requirements satisfied, and the whole thing delivered on time and to budget.
Along the way, you'll develop strong relationships with colleagues in commercial, financial and procurement functions over the course of the programme. That's because watching our finances is as important as watching the clock when delivering a project. With that professional network behind you, you'll have everything you need to tackle anything that comes your way.
What you'll get out of it
We'll help you become a true professional. And, as our programme is based on the Association for Project Management (APM) Body of Knowledge, you'll get experience in all the key elements of the APM Competence Framework. Combine this with learning from the best project managers in industry and support from your own mentor and you'll be ready to go for the APMP qualification. And let's not forget a competitive starting salary of £28k-£30k.*
What you'll need
A minimum of a 2:1 Bachelor's or Master's degree is essential. You'll also need to satisfy the MOD's security requirements (and may need to complete a medical assessment).
*Depending on location, role and qualifications.
