About our Client
Our client is a Second year Zoology student studying her degree at Reading University.
She has a diagnosis of Athetoid Cerebral Palsy and is a full time wheelchair user.
Her many hobbies include eating out and Cinema visits.
The client leads a very active social life by meeting up with friends and family.
With a joyful and delightful persona, as well as a good sense of humour, our client enjoys going out to social events, such as parties, pubs and nights out.

" I am a very social person and I take every opportunity to go out and have fun. I like to go to the pub, theatre, cinema, to eat out and to see friends. I will definitely make the most of the university s very own nightclub! I like to look my best, so hair and makeup is a passion of mine. I am also interested in nature and animals, and thus, will always take the opportunity to watch a David Attenborough documentary. This is why I think zoology is the perfect degree for me! "

You will provide our client's academic support and health and social care.
This is also a "flat mate" type of role which goes far beyond simply care work, and includes all the fun things you'd expect a first-year university student to be doing, like getting out and about to see friends, going to parties, the cinema, going on holiday and much more!
Start Date: September 2022 or sooner
Working: Live-in 7days on / 7days off
Pay: £130 Per day
Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.
You must hold a full clean UK driving licence as you will be driving our client's adapted car.
5.6 week's holiday pro rata.
You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in her particular needs is provided.
You will need: -
To be physically fit, calm, patient and caring
Good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative
To have a good sense of humour
A mature and responsible attitude
Good communication skills
To be fluent in English.
To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.
To be a non-smoker
A full clean UK driving licence - you need to be a confident Motorway driver.
