We are well situated within a 5 minute walk from Dollis Hill Tube Station on the Jubilee line in the London Borough of Brent. The Post:

We are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our supportive team in providing high quality meals to all our children.

On a daily basis you will be responsible for assisting the Catering Manager and kitchen team to work as part of a team and be able to engage effectively with the children. Applicants also need to be aware of the need for confidentiality and able to work under pressure.

In return we will support your continuing professional development and you will work in a friendly warm environment where children are at the heart of our school.

The Person:

The successful candidate will be forward thinking and able to support the Catering manager to to enable service delivery of the highest quality for our children. You will also ensure that services are of an excellent quality, conform to legislation, are healthy and are cost effective.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Have an understanding of Health & Safety requirements in a school environment
  • Knowledge of food and safety handling
  • Prepare and assist, as necessary, to cook food under the supervision of the Catering Manager
  • Adhere to HACCP food storage preparation and hygiene regulations
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time, which are commensurate with the grade of the job
