Transaction Services Team - Banking Paralegal Join our high performing, dynamic and busy Transaction Services Team (TST) as a Paralegal to help us deliver a world class service to our clients. For the right person, this role provides an exciting opportunity to work with a team of committed professionals at the forefront of change in the legal industry. The TST focuses on tasks that are found in a wide variety of legal assignments but which do not necessarily need to be done by qualified lawyers, such as document review, due diligence and e-disclosure, as well as process elements of transactional, advisory, commercial real estate and litigation work. It was set up by Addleshaw Goddard as an alternative, modern and more efficient approach to the conventional delivery of standardised legal services by law firms. The TST is supported by the use of technology and plays a key role in enabling Addleshaw Goddard to respond to client demand for more innovative and better value services. The team has grown rapidly since its launch in 2010, and remains the only on-shore operation of its kind offered by any UK law firm. The Role The Paralegal will work as part of the Transaction Services Team to provide support to fee earners in our Banking team, part of our Finance and Projects division. As a Paralegal embedded in this team, the work is varied and includes; Reviewing and reporting on contracts and other information as part of corporate due diligence exercises Drafting and producing legal documentation and standard forms Managing electronic data sites, uploading and ordering documentation and liaising with third parties Providing transactional support on banking projects Checking legal documents for quality, consistency and content Assisting with post completion tasks on legal projects What we are looking for Due to the dynamic nature of the work we do and the clients we seek to serve, the role is not an ordinary 9-5 job.
