Annual Salary
Purpose and scope of the Role:
  • Maintain and expand current relationships with Nordic Institutional investors across all investment strategies offered through different asset classes (Equity, Fixed Income, FX, Alternatives). Ability to market different risk return strategy profiles (Passive, Advanced Beta, Active, Absolute Return) available in different investment vehicles.
  • Expand SSGA's footprint in the Nordics by converting your prospect portfolio into long term SSGA clients.
  • Specific focus on intermediaries across Nordics (Banks, Asset Managers)

Major Responsibilities:
  • Account Executive
    • Maintain and expand current client relationship on your allocated client portfolio through a diversified range of investment solutions
    • As a Senior member to the Nordic Team you are expected to contribute significantly to the annual revenues target
  • Prospecting - convert your assigned prospects into clients by positioning our investment capabilities
  • Drive Nordic product innovation - Present and discuss with your clients/ prospects our investment capabilities and solutions and identify the best fit for the client needs, initiate and drive new products if needed till the client seed investment
  • Intermediary client Expert - Be the subject matter expert on intermediaries across the Nordic countries by following market development, client investment trends, regulation and convey this information internally in light of our current and potential product offerings
  • Team player - As a senior member of the team work with the other team members for them to achieve team objectives and mentor them

Education & Experience:
5-8 years' experience covering Nordic Institutional clients with a focus on intermediaries
Excellent understanding of the industry and investment trends in the sophisticated Nordic market
Strong knowledge and understanding of the financial markets
University degree in Finance or Economics preferred
International study and / or work experience
Specific Technical Knowledge
Fully client driven
Multi-lingual : fluent in English, any Nordic language is a plus
MS office - good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of CRM systems : Salesforce

Experienced sales track record and proven team player
Persistent in adversity, ability to take the lead on sales opportunities or client issues and follow them through
