Hanna Resource Group, a human resource consulting firm, is growing and looking for a dedicated, smart, and personable Human Resources Consultant to join our team. The HR Consultant role provides guidance and strategic support to our small and mid-size clients. This person must demonstrate strong business acumen and possess an entrepreneurial spirit with a genuine desire to proactively and consistently deliver results for our clients.The Consultant will work directly with our clients in developing and executing customized HR programs. Many HRG Consultants currently work onsite several days per week at our client's workplace, in our Lexington-based office, and remotely.HRG offers the opportunity to practice HR leadership in a flexible environment that values high quality HR practices, independence, & professional growth. HRG Consultants learn and develop through their work serving as HR leaders for our client s in differing industries and workplaces.Responsibilities:* The ideal candidate will be results-focused, accountable, motivated, and highly organized with the:* Ability to assess, develop, and manage all Human Resource functions* Conduct HR assessments and prepare written summaries and reports* Create and implement Human Resource policies and procedures* Create and lead Human Resource strategies* Engage, inspire, and influence people at all levels within the organization* Develop relationships with clients and become a trusted advisor to business owners and senior executives* Provide expertise to HRG team and clients in HR Strategy, Benefits Management, Training and Professional Development, Recruiting, Performance Management, Orientation/Onboarding Programs, Organizational Effectiveness, HR Compliance Support, Employment Policies, and Employee Engagement Initiatives* Develop content and provide training to HRG team members, clients, and the community regarding the current issues and newest developments in human resources.Qualifications:This position requires a proactive, independent individual with strong quantitative and conceptual skills. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills and be able to function and succeed in many different environments. The drive and determination to lead Human Resources initiatives is a must.* Bachelor s degree required (advanced HR degree is a plus)* 5+ years of HR experience* Must possess consulting skills and be viewed as professional and knowledgeable by our clients* Thorough understanding of human resource principles and practices, including employment laws and regulations* Knowledge of HR metrics and ability to benchmark, measure, analyze and articulate the value of HR initiatives, practices and policies* Must work at a fast-pace and manage multiple accounts and priorities where timeliness, responsiveness, quality, and client satisfaction are key* Strong interpersonal skills as well as verbal and written communication skills* Must have the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities* Computer and math skills are required (especially MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)* Demonstrated excellence in previous HR endeavors* Professional HR Certification is strongly desired (PHR/SPHR and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP)* HR and business operations experience supporting small to mid-size organizations
