Full-time position available for the Behavioral Health Department at Turning Point Treatment Center. Will be working with adults suffering from chemical dependency. Provides one-on-one group counseling assessment, evaluation and intake. Organizes and provides direct counseling services to patients in a secure setting. In addition, employee will be a liaison between the public and the facility. Applicants must have no history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of two years prior to the time of employment. Applicant should have demonstrated rapport, empathy for, and ability to communicate with recovery patients.
Education and/or Experience:
+ CDP must have an AA degree and must have a Washington State CDP License or Washington State Department of Health CDPT certification required.
+ Proficiency in computer programs such as Word, Excel is a plus.
+ Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
