The Global Risk Programs Officer will assist in the oversight of the global Compliance risk identification program and the Compliance Lessons Learned Program. The risk identification program is designed to assist in the ongoing identification, escalation and potential remediation of key compliance risks facing the Firm. The Compliance Lessons Learned Program considers internal and external incidents from a compliance risk perspective, to identify and document any required remediation, relevance to other areas of the Firm (i.e., read across) and emerging themes. Both programs work in tandem to better enable the Compliance Department to proactively identify and manage the Firm's compliance risk.
Specific job responsibilities include:
• Participate in substantive monthly risk analysis, including review of management information on a global basis, produced across the Legal and Compliance Division (LCD )and other stakeholders Firmwide
• Liaise and coordinate with LCD management and coverage teams globally regarding specific issues
• Provide substantive execution support with respect to certain action items identified through the risk identification program
• Assist in production of monthly compliance risk identification analysis materials for presentation and discussion with Compliance Senior Management
• Assist in the administration and management of the Compliance Lessons Learned Program, including coordinating with Compliance teams globally
• Produce quarterly Compliance Lessons Learned Program reporting
• Act as lead on certain lessons learned reviews
• Liaise with other areas of the Firm, such as Legal, Operational Risk, and Business Unit Risk Management with respect to the Compliance Lessons Learned Program
• Assist in responding to requests and reporting regarding both programs, from other functions within the Firm or from regulators, as necessary

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven track record managing complex programs across disciplines and geographies
• Committed team player
• Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and ,ideally, SharePoint and Jive skills
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to challenge existing processes
• Legal, compliance and/or non-market risk management background preferred
