Working for this IT Services business in Salford Quays, the role will be to provide administrative support to the sales division and work closely with other departments to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.this includes but not limited to ensuring that Sales have the correct literature, reports, forward phone calls and schedule appointments to name a few tasks. Duties include:

  • Processing sales orders
  • Diary management - arranging internal and external meetings where required
  • Providing any necessary data and/or reports
  • Requesting travel and accommodation, if requested
  • To request and obtain supplier pricing as requested, including checking of the output for accuracy
  • Perform data entry duties with regard to sales figures, metrics and other key data in a timely fashion; including but not limited to preparing costings for proposals
  • Preparation of customer quotations and proposals
  • Completing thorough and appropriate credit control checks on customers, as required
  • Expedite requests for rush orders and alter sales orders and shipping data as needed
  • Prepare, administer and coordinate customer and supplier quotations, proposals, bids, orders, contracts and specifications in a time and efficient manner
  • Maintain in-house CRM/database systems


To apply you must be:

  • Proficient in MS Word - Formatting of documents, tracking of changes, layouts, inserting tables and general features
  • Sales admin experience, ideally within an IT business but not essential
  • Proficient in MS Excel - Updating and creation of formulated tables, pivot table experience would be good but not essential and general excel
  • Experience of working with CRM Systems
