Office Administrator

We are looking for an Office Administrator to join a busy and growing company based near Theale. The Office Administrator should have strong administration and organisational skills, possess an excellent telephone manner and take a helpful and positive approach in their work. They should have at least two years experience in a similar role and set high standards professionally.

Office Administrator - Key responsibilities
To provide administrative support to the Business Support and HR Manager with tasks including among others:

  • Preparation of documents in MS Word by using predefined templates or by creating them from scratch
  • Create and maintain files in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Coordinate and organise Company activities and functions like meetings; source and set up rooms to be used
  • Arrangement of travel and accommodation UK and overseas.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail, including courier services
  • Document management, develop and modify filing practices, including file structure of electronic records and external data room support
  • Day to day liaison with outsourced IT admin support service provider to resolve IT issues raised by users
  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Maintenance of office supplies and specialist equipment, ordering new supplies when needed
  • Project support, including research of data and creating presentations / reports.
  • Company diary management
  • Greeting clients and visitors as needed


  • Minimum of 2/3 years' experience in a similar role essential
  • Ability to work well as a team and independently
  • Ability to multi-task with a can-do, positive attitude
  • Highly organised and flexible
  • Excellent written and oral communication, with a professional, friendly approach
  • Proficiency in the use of a computer, particularly Word, Excel, MS Office and PowerPoint
  • Ability to use the Internet and email facilities
  • The role is varied and the successful candidate will have the opportunity and support to develop.
