Talent and Resourcing Advisor

Our client is a world-leading provider of high quality marine products, services and packaged solutions. In their 30 year history they have developed from a fledgling local distributor to a world leader with 50 worldwide locations. Due to expansion they are seeking a new internal Talent & Resourcing Advisor to join the business on a permanent basis.

Role Outline:

To support the Group's Talent Agenda and Talent Management practices, Identifying, driving and managing the full Talent Employee Cycle, and creating a Talent Pipeline in line with company goals.

Responsibilities:

  • To Support the Group Talent and Development and Resourcing Partners to Recruit, On board, Monitor, Manager and Develop Talent.

  • To facilitator and manage talent processes such as ,Talent Panels , Career Conversations, Succession Planning practices and Organisational Management reviews (OMR) .

  • To design and embed a robust, value adding on boarding service and process

  • To support, train, and coach line managers understand and implement Talent Management processes.

  • To support the James Fisher Group Graduate Development Programme and execute the Graduate Resource Programme,

  • To drive and take ownership for the James Fisher Group Apprenticeship programme, in line with up to date legislation.

  • To coach and develop high potentials within the group

  • To Support the High Potential Leadership Programme

  • To work closely with the Resourcing Partner and team to help support a bespoke recruitment service to assist the business

  • Build close relationship with key business stakeholders; gaining a thorough understanding of the anticipated talent planning activities.

  • Implement innovative talent campaigns to attract the best talent available.

  • Assistance with the provision of monthly & quarterly reporting and MI

  • Assistance with ad-hoc projects/duties may be required to support the business

Required Experience:

  • Talent and Development experience

  • Ability to manage a high volume of tasks/roles and prioritizing demanding workloads

  • Ability to influence and coach at Middle to Senior Manager level

  • Recruitment background and used to dealing with multiple stakeholders

  • PC skills (including all Microsoft Office Applications - Word, PowerPoint, Excel
