TrainingU are a leading provider of learning solutions delivering a range of Microsoft Office Applications, Management and Leadership and Personal Effectiveness training courses to prestigious clients across the UK. We have a very exciting new opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Training Coordinator to join our small and friendly office team based in Hemel Hempstead.

THE ROLE

The Training Coordinator will be working within a small and friendly team organising training for prestigious clients across the UK and will report to the Training Operations Manager. The role will require a high level of accuracy and multi-tasking so attention to detail is key as is the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • See through the entire course booking process from point of enquiry to post course follow ups
    • Record enquiries on the CRM system, prepare quotations and follow up
    • Research and develop opportunities, using tools such as LinkedIn
    • Assist with sales reports
    • Assist in the client 'Skills Assessment' process
    • Coordinate dates between clients and trainers
    • Book resources such as accommodation, travel and equipment hire
    • Pre and post course administration
    • Manage equipment requirements from laptop distribution to the production of course materials and manuals
    • Prepare invoices for payment
  • Build relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction
  • General office duties such as answering the phone, ordering stationery, liaising with facilities and booking meeting rooms
  • Any other adhoc duties as may reasonably be required

THE PERSON

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an administrative role is key
  • Strong organisational skills, ability to multi task and prioritise responsibilities
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and presentation skills with good attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages in particular Word and Excel
  • Strong work ethic, you will be enthusiastic, ambitious and business minded
  • Analytical and process driven
  • Be a team player, assisting with projects when required
  • Confident and welcoming telephone manner
  • Able to use your own initiative and manage time effectively
  • Drive and ambition to provide an exceptional service to TrainingU's client base
  • Must be able to drive and have your own car

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working the HR/Training/L&D industry
  • Previous experience working in a Training Coordination/Event Management role
