We have a fantastic opportunity within our team for an Industrial Recruitment Consultant to join our successful Newcastle office to develop and support a successful desk within the Industrial sector. The role of an Industrial Consultant

To become the recruitment partner of choice in the North East market specialising in Temporary lndustrial placements. We achieve this by delivering exceptional service levels to both clients and candidates alike. This is a full 360 degree role, and so you will be responsible for achieving targets through managing current accounts, client site visits, new business development and revenue generation.

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will play a key role in building relationships with both client companies and candidates. Getting to know both clients and candidates so that you develop a deep understanding of your client's culture and their staffing requirements, as well as the qualities and aspirations of your candidates, giving you the opportunity to help develop both careers and grow client business.

Managing your own Client portfolio and growing client business

Sourcing the most suitable candidates utilising many different candidate attraction techniques.

Building relationships with candidates, giving you the opportunity to help develop their careers

Proactively promoting candidates through various marketing tools.

We are looking for applicants with a sales & service background who can demonstrate strong communication skills at all levels. Ideally you will have a track record of meeting targets and strong examples of exceeding customer's expectations.

Recruitment experience isn't essential but the below character traits are:

Proactive & Tenacious

Competitive & driven

Commercially minded & analytical

PC Literate - fully versed in MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint

Strong communicator - verbal & written

Ability to forge strong, lasting relationships

Knowledgeable of the North East area

What you can expect in return:

A competitive salary up to £22k

A market leading commission structure and monthly bonus. (10% of all profit on desk)

Career development (4 consultants have been promoted within the last 2 years, all of whom did not have prior recruitment experience)

Annual company profit share

28 days holiday inc bank holiday

An additional three days office closure over Christmas (Fully paid)

As well as your Birthday off (Fully paid)

Salary - £18,000 to £20,000 with genuine OTE £30,000+
